Summer in Turkey – Visit Istanbul

Places to see in Istanbul: Topkapi Palace - Topkapi Saray: For about 400 years, Topkapi Saray or Topkapi Palace, was the administrative seat of the Ottoman Empire and the residence of the sultans. Navy Museum - Dolmabahce Palace: Compared to other previous palaces built in Ottoman style, Dolmabahçe Palace is the first imperial field built in a European style. - Suleiman the Magnificent Mosque: - Mosque Prince - Sehzade: - Bayezid Mosque - Beyazit Mosque: the oldest imperial mosques in Istanbul. - Blue Mosque - Sultan Ahmed Mosque built by Sultan Ahmed I, between 1609 and 1617. The Imperial Mosque Sultanahmet, known all around the world as Blue Mosque due to it’s about 21000 of inner tile panels, is impressive by size. The building has the capacity of 10000 of persons, 260 of windows and houses a religious school, a hospital, a (caravan) serai and a free restaurant. - Grand Bazaar - Kapalua Çarsisi: Called too, Covered bazaar, it contains more than 4000 shops, 65 streets, 24 inns, 2 covered markets, mosques, restaurants, fountains and teahouses. - Church of St. Sophia - Hagia Sophia: It represents the triumph of Christianity, and a symbol of Byzantium. It was the Patriarchal Cathedral of Constantinople, then mosque and today it is a museum. It is the most grand and venerable sanctuary of the Ortodox Christianity. The beaches of Turkey: - Patara Beach at the Mediterranean Sea. It is located 75 kilometers far from the city of Fethiye. It is the widest and longest beach in Turkey. - Oludeniz Beach : also known as the "Blue Lagoon". Extraordinary mixture of shades of blue and green is one of the reasons why the entire Turkish coast is also called the Turquoise Coast. - Olympic Beach is located almost 80 kilometers far from Antalya It is the opposite of the other beaches being small and secluded. It is bordered by a pine forest where are the ruins of marble temples, from Roman times. Side Beach - Side idyllic village is near Antalya at 65 km. Now it is crowded and noisy, but the beaches are still good. There are still two kilometres of virgin beaches, with white sand and water heated by the sun. Tourists can see Greek and Roman ruins and can taste traditional Turkish cuisine. - Alanya Beach: is located 115 km far from Antalya. The city is very crowded, but on the 22 kilometres of beach is room enough. Summer tourists come here from all around the world. Kemer-Beach: is located 20 kilometres far from Antalya, next to Taurus Mountains. Those who bore on the beach can make a lot of interesting trips. -Pamucak Beach: is located 7 kilometers far from Ephesus. The beach is large, with dark sand, and enough clean.
